I have a Tunzee 5017 setup that has worked fine for three years, but, aIcouple of weeks ago it started running ever 25-30 seconds over and over again, so I’ve had to keep it unplugged. When I do plug it in a few times a day, the pump kicks in and it runs until the water level is back up to normal and shuts off, only to start kicking on and off after about 30 seconds.

Any ideas? Sensor? Pump? Controller? Combination ?

Thanks,
Tim

Is the water level correct or is it overfilling? Usually if the water level is staying the same, the hose is touching the water so you pump water in and it gets siphoned back, the hose absolutely cannot be touching the water.

The hose is not touching the water, no. The water level is not as high as normal after installing a new pump on the left side. I went ahead and lowered the ATO sensors so that the optical sensor is touching the water and the ATO is working properly now.

In smaller all in ones, this can happen if the return pump is surging from a failing impeller or motor or because the filter or inlet is clogging. In some cases this can be a symptom of a sensor that is dirty or failing and less sensitive as a result (longer lag to respond).
