Turbo snail ditched his shell?

Morning to everyone and hope you are doing well in the Coronaverse. I have 3 turbo snails in a 13.5 nano. I noticed this AM that one of the turbo's had ditched his shell and was crawling on the glass. Any idea why? Thanks.
 
I could be wrong, but I think that a snail is attached to their shells and can not leave it.
Could you have possibly seen a stomatella snail or something else?
 
I’ve never seen a turbo out of its shell unless dead. Turbos are pigs and 3 in a 13.5g seems like a lot. Maybe on its way to death from starving?
