For over a month now, my Mexican turbo snail has been in this location. At first I thought, "Meh, he takes a couple days off here and there."
Then I decided it was dead. So I went to get it out and realized, he has a good hold of that half a bi-valve shell. I put him back. Since then he has continued to lay there, holding on to that shell. He eats the algae off of one side of the shell and flips it over and begins on the other side. He never has to move his body weight and is always protected with his shell shield.
By the time he has finished one side, the other has a bit of film algae.
Is he the world's smartest snail? The laziest? Both?
He's the worst mexican turbo snail ever. At least he never knocks over stuff.
