I have recently brought a 10 gallon tank for my bed room, I have bought the quietest equipment as I can’t sleep with much noise. Put the power head I have which is the Voyager nano silent, is too noisy and is louder than my pump. I was wondering if I could turn the power head off at night, I want this tank to house soft corals and some invertebrates. The return back into the tank is creating a good amount of movement in the water and the water surface is moving and so is the sand near the bottom. Will the current return flow be enough during the night, so I can switch the power head off while I sleep? Or do I have to keep it all going all day and night?
