Turning off the blue led’s

The blue light control LED’s on top of the XR15 G5; is there a way to turn them off in Mobius or on the light itself?

if so please let me know where and how. It’s not that a big a deal if not, they are just annoying.

Just curious as to why you want to turn off the blue leds?

You can turn off the blues in the mobius app by editing the color spectrum

Not those LED's... the blue LED's on the buttons on top of the light...

Yes... the blue buttons... sorry I guess I was about as clear as mud with my post... I want to turn the button lights off...

Ahh I don’t think you can but I’ve never tried either. I would assume they always stay on.

I believe there was an option in the old software ecosmart live pre reeflink. I believe i turned my G3s off cause they were lower lights over a shallow tank. , but dont think i ever tried when i had the G4s. I havent thought about it on the G5s either.

I see, not sure if you are able to do that. Maybe give EcoTech a call to see if theres a way. Or quick fix would to put a sticker or electrical tape over it or something to block the light.

Duct tape. That’s how I do mine with other annoying electronics in my room. My G4’s all running the blues after they’re off which fine as I don’t sleep next to my tanks.

Not that I can figure out. I use electrical tape.
