Ok, so my pencil and tuxedo urchin did their job at removing a lot of hair/turf algae...now i don't think the tank can maintain both of them so i am giving the tuxedo to a friend. (I like him more than the pencil but the friends tank is a reef tank- and one of them has to go before they start to starve.) my question is...how do i remove him from the tank?

With your hand, gently. Seems scarier than it actually is. :D
They do look quite spikey....lol but he's got a great personality so i definitely don't want to risk hurting him.

Use a glove if you’d like. But safe to pick him up. I use a glove lol

You can feed them seed weed (nori). Just grab it.

I would rather him go on to help someone else like he did for me... i will likely use a glove lol but be sure to keep him underwater.
