TV mount for led fixtures?

I have 2 165W viparapectra lights. This picture was in the amazon reviews, it’s a wall mount for a tv! Is this a safe way to mount lights?? This would be great, I can move the lights out of the way for maintainence without having to take them down completely.

I do not have or want a canopy, I prefer the look without them.

Interesting. I would think as long as the mount is screwed properly into wall studs.... and the light does not exceed the fully extended weight limit of the mount.... you should be good.

That's exactly what I'm looking to do. Do you just remove the plate that would normally attach to the TV?

They have been mounted for about 7 months now and I’m satisfied with them. Here’s a pic when they first went up.
