Tank is doing better by the day.
Just added 7 corals to qt today!

Can't wait to get these in the tank.

Corals are doing great I'm getting ready to do a second dip. Putting a seeded media block in sure did help keep things stable.

Today I purchased a Lubbock's wrasse and a red Cori's wrasse both are juvenile. I will pick them up tomorrow so I have time to set up my qt with a sand box and match temp and salinity.
Also so far I haven't been able to find any pest on the new corals or any eggs so I will be dipping them again tomorrow just in case anything's hatched.

Sadly the red Cori's wrasse didn't make it. I can't figure it out but I suspect stress or a heart attack. I was so carefully too. The Lubbock's is well and about finish with second round of prazipro.

I temporarily stopped water changes to monitor ALK and calcium consumption and my tank is starting to consume faster . Been testing daily and last night cleaned and calibrated my dosing pump. Cant wait to get my growth to accelerate

First, hair algae then cyano then hair algae, now cyano.
I'm really starting to believe that my true problem is detritus and my resume 15 jebao power heads just not being enough so I put on my big boy pants and ordered a maxspect gyre xf250.
We will see what difference a bit more flow makes within the week.

Also I cut some hdpe 1/2" X2" strips out this am and they will help keep my new wrasse in the water . I have screen tops but they stop at the plumbing leaving 2" gaps along the back for 6'.

I got one of three hdpe filler panels in and it fit perfectly can't wait to finish the other two.
Also putting plastic mesh over the two overflows, hopefully the tank will be fish proof soon lol

Introduced my Lubbock's wrasse last night after five days in tank in the makeshift social acclimation box right at lights out. Went into sand and we will see how he does.

Lots of updates first I added a maxspect gyre XF 250 tons of flow now but I'll have to figure out the settings which to me seem unclear
