Type this Frogspawns?

LFS had 20% off the whole store today and this looked gold in the store but in my tank green with purple tips. LFS said it was Indonesian gold branching Frogspawn and has 2 heads. What do yah all think? Is it rare?

Yeah corals can look slightly to very different from tank to tank depending on the lights used. Yours looks like a purple tip frogspawn. It will add lots of movement to your tank and they are pretty hardy. In regards to them being rare...not really. They have went up in price over the years though that is for sure.

Was reading that indonesian branching frogspawn is now endangered and makes it very hard to get now. Either way I fell in love with it gold...green ...rare or not doesn’t matter just trying to get an educated on it:)

It is definitely a nice coral and I am sure it will grow nicely for you. Yeah, I heard before that even when Indo was open they were not imported as much if at all. I know many of the reefers in my area have had theres for a very long time and that seems to be where the new ones come from in general.

When I was importing from indo all the way to the end I did not have any issues receiving hammers, torches, or frogspawns.

Fisherman to you yes I wantEd to know if I had something that is special I would make sure that I looked after it with a little extra care, not that I don’t treat my whole tank the same but you know what I mean or hope you do.
