We have a Tyree Toadstool that is about 10 inches tall. A month or so ago it developed a hole on its side. The hole has continued to grow is now about 2 inches long and it appears as though it will continue until a large chunk becomes detached from the toadstool. Is this normal? Is it self propagating a new toadstool? It looks very healthy and there is no rot.
Cheers! Mark

You can speed up the process by cutting it. Then place it in a low flow area of your tank in a small container with rubble. It will attach to the rubble b4 long.
