So I've been at it since I think about 2019 probably don't quote me on that, but here's the evolution of my reef so far.

The first photo is from 2018 this is when I started with the 5 gallon and a bucket full of reef rubble and sand I collected from broken down tanks.

The first inhabitant was a balloon molly I had picked up at PetSmart. I'll tell a little more of the story next post.

Looking forward to your updates!
I Love a skull in a reef tank, was always a talking point when had visitors in my tank. Plus endless fun ‘trimming’ it’s GSP hair. Lol

Here's a photo from 2020 when it was still in the 5 gal before this it was a bit different, the balloon molly had died by then and he was replaced with a yellow tailed damsel and a coral banded shrimp , sadly there was an electrical issue that killed both of them from stray current.

The corals that were in the tank at the time were the snake polyps, some zoas a piece of blue ridge and some organ pipe I found. Also I think there's a toadstool in there too with a frag of Kenya tree.

Here's an update of how the tank currently looks , unfortunately from 2020 to 2022 there aren't too many photos from that period since I wasn't very happy with the tank.

The story so far in that period was rough for the longest time I was battling blankets of cyano until I did a rip clean of the substrate and rinsed it really good.
