Hi kev
Happy Christmas when it comes hope all the family are OK pal. And you're present to me must be stuck in the post I will keep waiting lol please not the same as last year. I couldn't walk straight in them lol

Rock pool Reef keepers is still alive

Good morning! What kind of shrimp is that, I have never seen it before?
kev they are prawns
Some people call them glass prawns but they are a good clean up crew. The fish don't eat them because the prawns are very fast moving when a predator is about

They're shrimp, because they're in the family Palaemonidae (genus Palaemon). shrimp are in the suborder Pleocymata, which also contains things like crabs and lobsters, prawns are in suborder Dendrobranchiata and aren't closely related.

Yes you are correct when reading more information thanks for putting me correct. We also get sand shrimp but they get eaten by the fish the top of the shrimp just looks like sand particles
