They seem to get creative...they must have a poll at work on the strangest places to leave packages. I have had them in flowerpots as well as behind bushes to the left and right of my sidewalk/front door. I would like to think they were trying to hide them from possible thieves but it took me a couple of days to realize they were there so I don't think that was the case lol.

My driveway is two acres long. At the entrance is a farm gate that stays open. The amazon delivery person used to leave packages behind the gate, nearly buried in leaf litter. My neighbor found a package when he was mowing the grass. It had been there a month and was totally ruined. The amazon people were hesitant to replace the stuff until I sent them pictures. Come on guys.... it’s not rocket science. Don’t put a brown box down in dead leaves behind a gate that obviously hasn’t been moved in years. Geez...

I can't speak for this particular drop but some drivers will drop it in areas such as this, weather permitting of course (common sense, right?), if the home owner has a large dog breed or known aggressive dog. Or if they have a smaller dog and day sleeper. We have a very large GSD and it lets you know when someone is within 10 feet of the house. So our guys and gals dropping of packages know this by now and leave it on a table in our court yard rather than the final porch/mat. I'm perfectly ok with this. If it is winter then they leave it just before the courtyard that is covered.

In this case though looking at the images none of this is probably applicable and the young lass probably had a rough day or night or trouble with the family and not having a great one. Just roll with it and if it happens again ask them about it.

True, yeah I just found it amusing. It was only a toilet paper holder so nothing critical lol. The other days my Fed-Ex package was like 6 hours late. The driver handed me my package and told me that the package should have been there by 10:30AM and that I should call and complain because they didn't deliver what they promised. The box said live fish on it although it had corals in it. I told him as long as the livestock is OK, no biggie to me. I thanked him for letting me know though. Everything wass fine ex dog for one coral that I think was probably already in bad shape so no biggie.

Wow on the Fed-Ex package driver. I would call but not to complain rather say how well of a job they did explaining everything and the extra effort. That is some great service and commitment there.

No, you DON'T want to do that!! That's "drivers speak" to help customer and they will know he was "coaching " so to say.
Yes he is being cool as the customers deserve better from these garbage delivery companies, but leave it at that.

Complain.....yes.
Mention driver.....no.
