This looks exactly like High Tide Aquatics Insanity. Are they the same?

What is this? Daylight photos please!

+1 I don't know what to expect anymore these days with the accepted royal blue/uv led pics with gel filters etc. The results can be quite artificial looking to the real thing in person. If this coral looked like this under 12-14k spectrum I would sell my wife's sister for it :D

Have them take some photos near some what sand where the sand is still white. That other photo still looks doctored to me.

People caught on to the greasy and tricky photos when white sand and eggcrate was in the photos looking blue and purple. Black sand is now the tell-tale sign of photo editing beyond what is natural. Nobody would buy corals like these for half the money if they were white sand photos where the sand was white... WD is another example of this.

I've been to Vivid. It's the real deal. I has to be. The clientele there wouldn't stand for it.

It's not like your LFS.
Think Ferrari dealership.

There's more to that coral than lighting folks. Their water chemistry has to be spot on perfect rock solid stable. lol

And that's just what it takes to color up SPS corals. That's when the Radion takes it to a whole different level. Don't believe me, ask Dave at Vivid!

What was the pice tag on it ?

1 frag went to auction a while back. I believe it sold for $1,100.

I was told Vivid may have an "extremely limited" number of frags available, if not all already spoken for. 1 piece is supposedly reserved for a very well-known and prominent article writer here on R2R and Reef Builders.

These were a couple of the "mythical" frags...(NOT my photos)
