Coral feast is great!!! I love that stuffWillow's Reef makes a dry food called Coral Feast that is quite good. AquaChar is a great GAC/biomedium.
I do the same. Bacteria is our friend. Just not sure anyone source has all of them. Those are some gorgeous corals!
I personally use some of the Brightwell products, but love using lots of live phytoplankton of as many varieties as possible, as many varieties of live copepods as I can, and live PNS bacteria. I truly believe biological diversity is key to a healthy reef. When I started my reef I added PNS, Microbacter 7 from Brightwell, Stability from Seachem, Biospira from Instant Ocean, and PNS sauce, along with a handful of sand and some rubble from a local's 26 yr old reef tank that was started with all fiji live rock back in the day
I think you're correct. The vast majority of reef bacteria (and bacteria in general) have never been cultured in the lab much less produced commercially for the aquarium hobby. Most of the stuff we see other than the usual nitrifiers (traditional cycling products) just contain Bacillus or maybe Lactobacillus; far fewer products contain anything very exotic.Just not sure any one source has all of them.
