Hi all!

6 months ago in the first frag order I made I purchased a burning ember leptastrea. Unfortunately after few months I had some nutrient spikes and the leptastrea looked pretty dead with algae growing in its skeleton, so I just dumped it in a corner of the tank and got covered by sand and stuff.
The other day I wanted to use the dead skeleton for attaching some frags and...

Corals are awesome, they can die off so quickly but come back to life with time and stability. This is actually the second time that this happens to me, last time was with some zoa frags.
Never dump frags, they might be alive!

i have one too that encrusted and i thought for sure was a goner. To my surprise its growing new flesh. crazy stuff...

Yes impressive! I hope it goes slowly back to normal and grows, for now it is already going slowly to its old bright yellow color, just few days ago was brown.
