Hi,
I’ve had a pulsing Xenia for quite some time. It was my second coral. For a while, it was always pulsing and opened up, always propagating itself, but about two weeks ago that started to change. It’s slowly wilting and is a little unhappy, no longer pulsing. Here is its current state:

Any thoughts about what may be happening?

Has anything changed ? Water parameters ? Lights ? Feeding ?
For a while, it was slightly in the shade. I moved it as I bought a torch that I didn’t want stinging it. Recently, I moved it back into the light and moved the torch over. Do you think given time that part that was in the shade will come back?

If that's all that's changed I would agree yes it's acclimating itself back.

Parameters are all stable ?

Parameters:
Nitrate - 0 ppm
Phosphate - 2.5 ppm (any ideas on how to lower this?)
dKH - 11 (196.9 ppm)
Calcium - 450 ppm
pH - 8.2

These guys ca actually need phosphate and nitrate in the water to remain happy
Moderate light and water flow and salinity 1.025 with temperature 77-79

Thanks! About half the Xenia remains on the original rock, and much has dissolved. What's left is doing considerably well and much has fallen apart, allowing for it to spread (yay.)
