I have white stringy spider web like stuff spread across the bed of my reef floor. It will retract and pull in pieces of food left on the floor into my rock. Any idea what this is??

Thanks Coastie Reefer! You were right on...it's a vermetid snail! Should I be concerned about them? Any idea where they came from? I have other types of snails, of course, but I cannot see them because they burrow in the rock.

If they're not bothering anything some people leave them be. They can irritate corals with their stringy mucus. Depending on where they are I just break the tube they live in and that pretty much gets rid of them.
