Thanks for the offer ;) but I have a few local SPS buddies that I've been friends with for many years. They have some of the best tanks in NY (no shipping risk) so they are the first on the list. After that, then I share the wealth :wink: I'll definitely keep you in mind.

Thanks man. I'm pretty stoked about it also. I never saw this color scheme in person on an acro and immediately knew I had something special when I saw the change. Who know's, maybe a few months from now wild colonies of this will emerge all over.

A.G. I'm using a small amount of ROWA changed monthly, and a small amount of TLF hydro carbon changed twice monthly. I've been using hydro carbon for a long time. I like to stick to safe, proven additives and equipment.

Nice thread amazing how acros can change color unfortunately in someone else tank this guy could just go back to being its normal yet still amazing blue coloration.

First cuts have been made!!! I have some excited friends right now :) These 2 frags were branches from the base that were going to grow into the rock. rather than have them touch the rock and encrust, I figured it was a good opportunity to frag an area that I won't miss :) These frags don't have red polyps visible so I will let them heal and color up before giving to my buddies for safe keeping. I'm try to get my hands on a waterproof camera to get pics and videos from different angles. This iPhone camera makes it difficult to get the proper image under my combo of 20k MH, blue T5's, and blue LED reefbrites.

PS that yellow one with the red polyps was new from my LFS. :) I think it has potential.

Thanks :) If this coral turns out to be one of a kind, long term, than it is more important for me to spread it at the moment. This is how it was done in the past with special corals. Not like this anymore with most "new" emerging colonies in the hobby. They all seemed to be chop shopped up to make a quick buck.

I agree, looks photoshopped and fake :) I's starting to see the red polyps on the frags now.
My old SPS nano was starved. I wish I added more fish to it back then, colors would have been so much better.

Here is a video I took of the tank today for reference. White balance came a little blue. PE and growth has been very good overall.
