The strangest thing has happened.. I have a harlequin shrimp that feeds on asterina stars and a monthly choc. chip star, (so he is well fed), but I don't really think that explains what is going on... Hannibal the starfish slayer lives on the very left of the tank in amongst the rock work and on the right side of the tank I have a banded serpent star, whom has been living in the same piece of rock for several months. Out of the blue, the serpent star decides to up and relocate to another part of the tank. Well, his choice of places to take up residence has me at a loss. He has planted himself in the same hidey hole as Hannibal and from what I can tell, they are getting along just fine. At times The Harlequin will be standing all over the serpent whilst feeding on the C.C. star. At night, the serpent will come out to hunt for food and in the morning, he is back in the same cave with his new "friend". I don't know what to think...

I know, but it's still crazy that he has relocated into a nook where another starfish is in the process of meeting his demise.
