You could always save that Starphire glass for another project! — thick low-iron glass is not cheap! (Sump build, perhaps?)

I'm not one to be a downer over these kinds of things, but I think you'd be wise to let this tank go. I believe this is a Gen 1 tank because I am like 99% sure that a Gen 2 or 3 would say "G2" or "G3" on the serial number sticker. The Gen 1's had a lot of trouble, and it's more than just losing your livestock, it could potentially cause thousands of dollars of damage to your home.
Waterbox is good from what others have said here on R2R, I like Innovative Marine and I'd suggest SC Aquariums for "budget" tanks (they are very good tanks, but mass built in China).

I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news… for what it’s worth, I ran into a similar issue with my first used Red Sea tank, which sent me down this glass fabrication rabbit hole!
You could always set it up in the garage, set it aside to slowly add reinforcements to, or just break it down to glass panes to have some thick low-iron project glass on hand!

I prefer hard honest truth , right I feel like taking it outside and kicking the s**t out of it , my own stupid fault for damaging it, needed a tank this weekend to transfer honestly am pig sick and 450 litres of NSW on my drive lol
I got a quote for 3ft2 (18”x24”) of 12mm Starphire glass around four months ago…
For the average Joe, working out of his garage: They wanted something like $457…
That comes down to over $150/ft2….

As someone who'll be doing a tank transfer in a couple of weeks because of my current Red Sea Reefer...
I endorse this message.
Currently torn on whether I try to salvage it (either for a reptile tank for myself or to some rando off the Internet) or just have it be part of my next junk-removal pickup from the city... the last tank I set out they literally crushed it on the truck.

What's issue with your current one?
The seam guard is failing and sand/algae/critters are starting to dig into the structural silicon. It's one of the failure modes for the Reefers - thankfully not the worst one. But given the well-documented problems with structural silicon in these tanks, I'm not taking any chances on it. It could last for months or years without issue, or it could fail tomorrow. Hopefully not tomorrow, because the new tank won't be here until next week. Probably not tomorrow, because I've been monitoring it every day since I noticed the issue and it hasn't progressed much. But my peace of mind won't let me just ignore it, because at some point it's probably going to fail.
