Uns r90 shallow lighting overkill?

Hi everyone, I currently have a 3 foot shallow uns r90 shallow and am running 2 reefi uno 2.1 fixtures. Ive been debating about if I should two quanta helix led bars as well or is this ammount of lighting overkill?

Selecting lighting intensity and spectrum depends a great deal on what animals you're keeping or planning to keep. Some are very tolerant of a wide range and will adapt accodingly. Some are very picky and need fairly narrow ranges. You'll need to measure the PAR levels you have and research what is best for your animals. Keep in mind, whatever you choose there will be animals that do not like it.
