Hello everyone,
A while ago I posted a question relating to some small white orbs on my plerogyra coral wich seemed to be killing it off. Nobody knew what it was but the coral kept on diying back further and further. So today I decided to manually remove them with a syringe and I found 2 snails deep in the coral near the orbs.
According to chatgpt these might be some kind of pyramid snail and after searching online the shape of the shell seems to be simillar. Does anybody want to confirm the id? Could these lay eggs like this? Their shell has a very faint pink collor and their body is completely white. Attached are the pics from before the removal and 2 pics of the snails. I went ahead and removed the snails and dipped the coral. I will see if it recovers.
Thanks a lot!
