Hi guys, as some of you may know, I have entered the hobby again after 2 years. (Used to run a 125 gallon + 25 gallon sump/mixed reef).

Have bought a 30 Gallon tank 3 weeks ago with established live rock. And have been going through the initial cycle.

Hereby a small update on my tank which is clearly entering the uglies stage after 3 weeks. With some dino’s and diatoms growing.

Added some corals (fingers crossed the SPS will get through) and first fish and inverts introduced.

Stock added:

Occelaris
Cleaner shrimp
4 trochus snails
Copepods/phytoplankton

Equipment added:

Bluemarine minireactor 80 with siporax (any experiences with this??)

Skimmer has gone through break in but still not able to stop lean skimming ( only small bubbles and no skimmate)

Heater added

Will let everything stabilise for the first coming weeks only keeping an eye on the parameters and couple of small WC.
