I would like to replace the pump I have in my build now. I bought the tank used and it came with an upgraded pump. However, the pump is too strong and makes the third chamber keep running low and causes the pump to dry out.

So my question is, what is the stock GPH on the Waterbox Cube 20? I have tried to find it with no luck. And the pump I have now has no info on it. I would like to go back to the stock GPH speed.

Thanks!

I posted in your other thread. I looked at mine and it is a Hidom AP-1500 rated at 1000/lph which is 264gph.

Looking at the look of that pump it seems like that is the one I have in there now! I'll send a picture of it once I'm home.

I just looked at a the Tunze 1073. Nice pump with some serious output. It fits in the Cube 20? Kind of expensive but it had some really good reviews I might snag one. This stock pump sucks that it comes with.

It fits, there is a smaller version. The Sicce are good pumps too. the 1.5 would be good too if you don't want to spend the ash on the tunze. i will say the Tunze is a little but quieter. you can usually find the sicces open box at BRS and Saltwater for 45 bucks or so.

The smaller version, does it have the controller? The one that had the controller according to the measurements anyway is too big. The tunze 1073. It won’t fit

I’ve got a 25g WBox and managed a Sicce 1.5- remove the inlet cover then use a hack saw to remove about >1/4” of the ‘collar’, be careful as it’s directly connected to impeller if memory serves. Obviously void’s warranty but it sure moves water!
