So I’m currently running a 125 with straight hydra 52. Everything has been working great. I’m about to upgrade to a 180. And with saving money I bought the T5 led light kit a year ago. I was going to use Radion #4 with the T5. And since I bought those everyone is straight converted to all LEDs.
Should I use what I got or just change over to all LED lights?

if you are strictly “results” oriented, then I say stick with the Halide/T5

If tank aesthetics, simplicity, control and future proofing are priorities; go with the LED

It depends; some will stay "stick with Halide/T5". Others will say go to LED lights

You need to add more details including the tank dimensions, what you want to grow, and all sorts of personal needs/wants.
Typical 180.. 72"L x 24"W x 24"H
The shift to all leds probably has more to do with convience and aesthetics than anything. Not to mention ease of finding them.

What t5 "kit" are you referring to?
