Upgrading / Please Help

Started with a 32g BioCube LED.

Going to an SCA 80g cube

I was going to get a ViparSpectra 165w for the tank. Will this be enough to grow SPS near the top?

I also need HELP finding an inexpensive light stand for that particular light. I won't be using a canopy or hanging it from the ceiling.

I'm sure I'll have more questions but that's what I need the most help with now. Sorry if this sounds a bit short, I'm just going to puke from trying to research it all myself.

Try to find the lights spectrum online... but, at the top of the tank, I'm sure you'll be able to have enough par for sps.

As for the light stand, you'll probably have to come up with a DIY type thing if not wanting to hang it.

I run 2 viparspectra 165’s over my 90 gallon. I have solid sps growth from middle up. Not sure what the par would be, but if works!

As far as the stand I’m not too sure either I have the clipped to my ceiling for now until I get around to building my canopy.

Great! Thanks! Yeah I mean as long as I can grow the SPS near the top I'm fine. LPS throughout the tank is enough for me. Next I'm going to have to read up on ramping up the LEDs without a meter to make sure I'm not starving or burning anything.

They are strong for Chinese black boxes. Ease into it. Research the lights through this forum. There’s some good info about these lights specifically as in where people have them set etc.
