I am new to forums or clubs period. Have dabbled in saltwater over the past 15 years and currently have gone micro by setting up a 15 gal all glass. Using natural direct sunlight for primary
lighting needs augmented by 4w led. Aqueon 50 filter plus one powerhead for flow. Sandbed 1-2 inches. Set up in January 20, 2013 and have been progressing quite well. Have minor diatoms
but will pick up some snails when I can locate (Cerith/Nerite). Have one damsel and remaining will be all corals. Introduced first coral zooanthid March 16th and it loves the sun. Looking for a source for small frags. Being remote in Polo, Il is a ball and chain. Water chemistry is great Salinety 1.025, PH 8.0, Ammonia-0, Nitrite-0, Nitrate-10, Phos-0 . The nitrate is receding, switched
water source 0-nitrate.
The project is to have small reef and relatively minor expenses.
