Yea - and it is a prove that it does what it should ;) Your algae is converted into urchin flesh instead and they are many times more beautiful to look at - compared with algae all over :p

The long spine urchins are the best algae eaters I have ever seen. They will mow down a 100 gallon tank with GHA in about two weeks. The only downside is they will eat the coralline algae also.

Good trouble: Have mushrooms ever become pests in your aquarium?

  • Mushrooms would never be pests even if they kept replicating.
