Good afternoon all,

I recently picked up some blue/green chromis from a LFS and a after a few days fish started showing signs of loosing some scales and now turning red in the same areas.

I was told that I should use Ruby reef to treat my LFS. Here is what I found on amazon regarding product:

I have been dosing/soaking food with Brightwell Vitamin C, which I was recommended by another LFS?

Has anyone ever used in Ruby Reef in a reef aquarium?? Whats your experience??

Livestock consists of:

5 blue/green chromis
2 clowns
1 brittle star
1 flame angel
1 carpet anemone
handful of coral/frags: mostly

Lots of clean up: blue leg hermits, scarlet hermits, turbo snails,

Thanks in advance.

Sometimes a bath in RRR will work, sometimes not. Especially once the red sores are showing. Not a good sign. You really have to prophylactically treat chromis before they show the red sores. More info below:

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
