That wasn't a waste. They USA does not have the speed on the flanks and it showed in the second half. It was a good performance on such a big stage. Its too bad it ended up the way it did, but it was an enjoyable match.

This is a preview competition beofre next years cup. The teams are chosen by their winning different events for qualification.

Simply the way the tournament was setup. It is basically run as a trial for the World Cup next year. Very disappointing that they blew the 2 goal lead because at some point they need to win something besides moral victories.

I'm just sick of all my spanish and brazilian friends telling me american's can't play soccer...so I talked them all into soccer on thursday. I played for about 12 years now. reffed for about 6. was on a state championship soccer team all 4 years of highschool. This should be fun! I just hope I don't HURT them! LOL
