Use a second P4 instead of expansion box?

Anyone know if it's possible to connect a second P4 with a PAB cable and use it like an expansion box?

My sump and controller are in the garage, but I want the leak sensor in the house under the tank. I assumed the leak interface was PAB and thought it would simply connect to the powerbar under the tank. I already have a second P4 that I bought for cheaper than an expansion box.

this is currently not possible.

As I know it - the leak function is a simple on/off function. It means that you can extend the cable between the leak interface and your P4. Either through a DYI solution or with the help of GHL extension cable.
