Is DI necessary to use when your TDS reads 0 or 1 before the DI stage?

My TDS is only 80ish in and it's reading 0 and occasionally 1 before it hits the DI stage.

0 TDS RO (and even RODI) can still have things in it that a TDS meter can't read because it isn't conductive... eg. silicates or chlorines, and possibly a few others.

just use a DI stage.
