using common cleaner wrass for ich control?

i'm having an ich problem with two new fish I added to my tank a month ago,not real bad but noticeable. more so on the black tang and a regal angel.i decided to add 2 cleaner wrasse to help clean up the spots.they got on the fish quick and all seemed well for the last few days.then I noticed some of the fish hiding and not so social.when they did come out the cleaners flocked to them and off they went into the rocks again.it seemed more stressful than the problem I put them in to help correct.using the bag trap technique I was able to catch them in a half hour.once removed every thing went back to normal.
my question is has anyone else had that problem?i have them in other tanks with similar fish and have not seen the same behavior.

Cleaner wrasses eat dead skin and some ectoparasites but not ich. Ich burrows under the skin and a wrasse can’t reach it.

In addition, unfortunately it’s likely the wrasses probably got whatever parasite your other fish have...

nice to know but not so worried about the wrasse.i'm not sure that answered the question but thanks

I have seen it both with cleaner wrasses as well as cleaner shrimp. Some just seem to be more "aggressive" with their cleanings which annoy some fish.

It takes fish a bit to get acustomed to being cleaned, especially if there are only a few for two cleaners.
