Are there or is there any benifits on using NSW (natural sea water) for the first fill up of a new tank? Obviously it would be after it has been sifted and larger particles are removed. Will this complete a cycle Instantly? Or would a cycle process need to be followed.. obviously if ammonia and nitrites are no longer existent.

Or should i just start with RO water from LFS and add salt to obtain a level of 1.025?

Thanks

Following this I know the bacteria is more for the rock to grow on however how would you know if this is ready for the next stage of fish/corals?

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
