Using vinegar to clean

moved so I had to break down my tank. Pumps, protein Skimmer, overflow box, tank extra need a good cleaning before I set it back up. I’ve read people use vinegar to clean. My question is do you use straight vinegar or 50/50? Also when cleaning pumps do you run them in the solution? Thanks for the help

Ive always done 50/50

50/50 for me too. I do run the pumps in the solution for an hour or so. I would not recommend using vinegar for Vortech wet sides as there has been some correlation with magnet damage.
