I’ve been looking for a UV sterilizer for my innovative marine Nuvo fusion 40. Looking to enhance water quality and protect against free floating negatives like Dinos, etc. Don’t want to use the desktop IM version because I like my intank chambers in both overflow chambers. I have been looking at the aqua advantage 2000+ hob version but I have concerns that I will just be recycling UVed water with both the pump and return in same chamber. Curious if anyone has found a good UV solution for an AIO. Appreciate anyones thoughts. Thanks.

I picked up a cheap $40 one off Amazon a few weeks ago because I had dinos pop up.

Id assume it worked, dinos are gone -- but I also dosed bacteria and nitrates/phosphates.

Just pay attention to the size, was surprised how big the thing was. I had it in my display, removed it now but plan to add it back in a rear chamber. This is for my red sea max 250 -- so larger tank.

Thanks for the input. Was it pretty much a brandless version?

Ya.

COOSPIDER Sun JUP-01 Aquariums in Tank Submersible Machine w/ 1 Spare Bulb + 2 Replace Filter, fit for 40-80 Gallon, 211gph 9 Watt https://a.co/d/dOK6Nkd

There are a few different ones that all seemed fairly similar.

The big thing is they are AIO - have an internal pump and sit in tank.

Thanks! It looks like it’s 12 inches long and has to be fully submerged. Don’t think I have the height in my nuvo40. But really appreciate the recommendation.
