UV Lamp

So I have recently been given a UV lamp from someone who used it to cure resin etc. Can I use it for anything in this hobby?
I did wonder about having it on a timer and mounting it over the hospital tank, or would this do more harm than good?

Just wanting to know if it had any use in this hobby or just whether to pass it on to someone else.
