Hi again everybody,
Hope you’re not sick of me yet. I got a new UV sterilization lamp that goes in the sump which is in the back of my tank. It came with a black shield, but has these two tiny slits where it shines through the shield. I know the black wall that separates the tank from my sump is probably providing a lot of protection, but do you think a little of this light will harm anything. I took a picture when it’s completely dark in here. I suppose I could use electrical tape to mask the little slits, but it might shine through. Anyway, your advice is always appreciated.
