I've got a Pentair UV sterilizer, the 40W version. I noticed it draws roughly 50W from the Apex outlet (as measured by Apex). I will say I've found Apex to measure a bit high compared to measuring the current at my circuit breaker but this drew my curiosity nonetheless. I went to the BRS page for the unit and found the Manufacturer's Manual (link). The manual confirms the unit should take 40W of INPUT WATTS (PDF page 6 of 39, Model No. 02040). If I had to guess, heat, wire length, etc might have some efficiency losses to account for the extra draw and I figure this is probably normal, but thought I would ask what other people are seeing on their Apex.

Anyone with a Pentair unit or other with similar experiences?
