I have reef octopus 150sss in my sump and tend to travel for work. Everything in my tank is automated except for skim removal. I used to have hob eshopps long time ago on another tank and did wet skimming which was awesome (when it didn't overflow). Does anyone have any suggestions how to do automated skim removal or wet skimming with in sump skimmers?

Skimmate lockers are you best bet, especially if you have a way in which to control the power to your skimmer in case it gets too full (like an Apex, or ReefKeeper). Ive used Avast Marine's line of skimmate lockers for several years and they are simply great.
