Why do I always have to buy flowers, chocolates and dinner for Valentines. Can't I just buy a frag and say it's a present for both of us? Do any of your significant others buy you reef stuff for valentines? Mine never does :(

lol If I was with someone, and they bought me frags, I would be positively ecstatic!
That sounds like a dream come true.

But Valentine's Day also has all these ingrained "cultural norms" (like most other holidays) so people feel like they have to do a specific thing or they're doing it wrong.

My wife actually bought me a frag for Valentine's Day :-) Well actually, she just gave me the go ahead to go buy one myself, but you get the idea lol.

Everyday is Valentine's Day with my wife! Both of us are old enough to realize it's like all of the other holidays: commercially driven, hype full of emptiness, spend spend spend $$$$$$.

I love my wife with all my heart and would do anything for her. She's my best friend and I'm hers. That's all I need for the rest of my life.
