wow i'm surprised that you get almost the same flow rate even after simplifying your return fittings.

I had no better luck with the VarioS 6 or a different flow sensor... Everything looks clear in the plumbing as well. I'm wondering if anyone out there has a VarioS 6 or 8 getting higher flow with the FMM. I'm trying to figure out what would be the right path forward now...

Iirc, the flow sensor shouldn’t be right after or right before a 90. I have mine after the pump, just high enough that it doesn’t get wet when the sump fills to max with the pump off.

I ran a Varios 4, my setup was: one inch off the pump, through the flow sensor to a 90, another 90, reduced to 3/4”, a 90, then three more 90s. Plus four or five feet of pipe in between all that. The Varios 6 could only manage about 350gph at max. I went back to the Jebao 5000 which pushes about 500 GPH at less wattage.

Today my new Sicce syncra 9.0 was delivered. I plan on using that as my return now. It’s DC and not head rated but it’s head pressure is much higher than the Varios.

Do you have an AC pump you can install and compare the specs on the AC just to get an idea. If the AC is really below its recommended specs then might be the flow sensor if not then it’s the RO

Yes, I like the pump the only thing IO don't like about it is if the power goes out it re starts but the controller flashes till I unlock it
There has to be a fix for that somehow. Did you try reaching out to Sicce.

No not yet like I said the pump is fine and I have it running full. If the power goes off it comes back on to the way it was set full, but it flashes. I travel for work and it freaks my dog sitter out lol

Are you finding it to be loud? I’ve heard a few complaints as such.

Any updates?

It was WAAYY too powerful for my lps setup. My Varios 4 pushed about 300gph at maximum (1,000gph max pump). The Sicce pushes 500gph at minimum (1,000 GPH at minimum). I listed it for sale.
