Greets,

I just plumbed in a UV into my closed loop. 120G tank, 25W Pentair. I have a SICCE Syncra SDC 9 for my closed loop, didn't think much about it. Just figured I could crank it down to get the GPH I would need for Protozoa. Well, according to my Apex Flow meter the lowest setting is about 300GPH.

So I was thinking I could replace this with a Vectra S1/S2 but was checking to see if anyone knew what the GPH was on this pump at its lowest setting at constant mode. Ball park will work

I know I can adjust my ball valve down but the idea here is to have a smart pump that cranks down low at night when the UV turns on, and then during the day would go back to it's normal mode with no UV exposure in the closed loop. Makes sense?

Any help is appreciated.

I was looking at the same pump for my Pentair 25w and had the same exact question. Did you ever find out if it can be tuned all the way down for algae?

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
