Hey guys, i wonder this is velvet or ich? It start has some last 3 weeks ago on my bellus angel and then it spread out the whole tank. It seem like ich to me since i used to have ich in my tank. But today my tang has died and my clown has white dot cover its eyes. Some of my bimac anthias has too but few dot. Of it velvet, how my tanks still survive after 3 weeks??

are they hiding from the light? not eating? do they look like they are covered with dust? swimming into the powerhead flow? these are all symptoms of velvet

Velvet, despite it bad reputation does not always kill all the fish overnight. Sometimes, depending on the numbers of parasites, quality of the water system (are you running an UV light, etc.), and the strength of the fish's immune system, velvet can just seemingly pick off one fish at a time. Remember, velvet strikes first inside the gills unseen doing tremendous damage, setting up the opportunity for bacterial infections to set in too.

Easiest way to tell is large salt like spots and you can count them = ich
small spots and so many you cannot count = velvet

In case of velvet, should i need to move them into tank with fresh salt water right away and put bio spira in there or i have to wait a day to let thosr bacteria populated?
