Vermetid snail close-up video

I have observed my vermetid snail outbreak for the past 1-2 years, but never seen one this extended. So I filmed it - thought he was pretty wicked looking!

Starting at 0:35 mark, you can really see its web sucking in and feeding itself... and it even appears to have little "hands"

That’s a really neat video!! I had an outbreak of them not too long ago and never looked at em that closely I was always crushing them when I saw em luckily after alot of manual removal bumble bee snails and both peppermint and cleaner shrimp are keeping them controlled enough now I don’t worry about the few that are left

I bought 5 bumble bees just incase I ever had this issue. 2 bumbles got eaten by something. the other three hardly move. slowest things in the tank.

What in helhiem did I just watch… cant fully make out where its dang mouth is!!! Weird critter.

Yup!! That snail now has 2 growing on him. And the other 20+ snails ignore him. The struggle is real
