My overflow is slowing down and I believe it is due to too many vermetids in there. I am going to temporarily switch to the other line and let this one dry out to kill them. How long should they be dry to kill them?

Not sure how long it will take to kill them, but there tubes will still remain behind still slowing the flow.

Can you remove the bulk heads or over flow from the bulkheads to clean them.

I had to do this to my 75 a couple weeks ago. I have a corner overflow so it was easy to remove the bulkheads on my tank I soaked everything in a solution of muriatic acid.
