I have a couple of rocks with vermetid snails that I’m looking to “reset”. Rather than manually breaking them off, I’m thinking about taking them out and soaking them in something to permanently get rid of them. So I guess my question is what’s the best thing to soak them in to kill them? Acid bath? Chlorine? RODI?

throw them away....

I will tell you a story...I once had a nice coral that I knew came from a tank with vermetids. I inspected like no tomorrow and kept a close watch. A few months later I saw a couple more on the coral and I quickly killed them. 4 months later they started to populate my rock and now I have an explosion of them. I cannot get rid of them. I need to find their predator.
