for those of you with smaller tanks (50g and under) and on a budget, saw this over on RC.
very cool idea for the DIY 2-part in which you dont need a dosing pump, just some air pumps, check valves and a timer.
there would be some tinkering involved at first to get the timer correctly adjusted so it doses enough, only way to figure that out is trial and error pretty much.

i really wish i had seen this several years ago when i was a poor graduate student, instead of mixing up fresh baking soda every other day to put into my tank...lol
