Very high TDS 8500

Hi All,

I use to have crystal clear water, but now my tds is up to 8500 in my tank, but nothing has changed? I use Rodi water for all water changes. These only read at 100ppm on the tds. I’ve been doing 20% water changes every week now. But still getting reading of 8300

many ideas of what’s causing this would be appreciated?

Salt water has a tds of about 35,000

You only take readings of your rodi source water not saltwater.

Sorry to revive this from the dead....

But if your RODI is reading 100 on the tds meter you either need a new meter or new filters.
